The Fondazione Federico II will be open on the following days and at the following times:
Monday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Tuesday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Wednesday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Thursday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Friday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Saturday from 8h30 to 16h30 (last entrance);
Sunday and holidays from 8h30 to 12h30 (last entrance).
In order to ensure the observation of the scheduled times and the proper management of the tourists’ flow, visitors will have to be on the site (going to the main entrance in the suitably marked areas and maintaining the social distancing of one metre) 15 minutes before the time indicated on the booking voucher.

EARLY CLOSURES IN JUNE
On June 3,5,7,15,16,17,19,21,22,23,26,27,28,29 and 30 the Palatin Chapel will close at 16.00h
On june 11, 18 and 25 the Palatin Chapel will close from 9.30 am to 11.30 am
On may 24, 25 and june 1th (from 10.30 am) the Royal Apartments will be open to the public.

Notice – It will be possible to buy the online ticket up to 20 minutes before the last entrance scheduled for the day.
SCHOOL VISITS
In order to make Schools and Students fully enjoy the touristic and cultural visit of the Royal Palace Monumental Complex in Palermo, we need to specify what follows:
- School groups will have to confirm their visit to the Monumental Complex ten days before the booked date. If, owing to circumstances beyond its control, the School group has no possibility to reach the site on the booked day, it will be possible to use the entrance tickets on another available date to be fixed with the staff of the Fondazione Federico II.
- The Fondazione Federico II will grant a free entrance ticket to two chaperoning teachers every 15 students; the remaining school staff will have to pay their ticket according to the price list. The free tickets for the chaperoning teachers will have to be collected at the Desk at the Bookshop.
- School groups tours will take place from Monday to Friday during the following time bands:
– 08,30 – 09,30
– 09,30 – 10,30
-12,30 – 13,30
-13,30 – 14,30
- Upon booking, it is necessary to specify the number of students, the number of chaperoning teachers, the day, the chosen time band and any other organizational request concerning the visit, in order to prevent any type of logistic inconveniences. The request will have to be written on the School headed paper and signed by the Headmaster/Headmistress and by the Administration Manager and will have to contain a complete list of the participants.
The School groups on visit will have to comply with all the anti-covid 19 procedures, as indicated on the Fondazione Federico II website (www.federicosecondo.org) and accepted upon booking.

AUDIO GUIDES
It will be possible to hire audio guides. Hiring will have to be requested when booking the ticket. The Fondazione will see to the careful sanitization of the devices. The disposable earphones must be disposed of at the end of the tour, in the special bins placed near the exit and properly marked.
