AUDIOGUIDES
It will be possible to rent audio guides, which contain content in Italian, English, Spanish, French, German and Russian. Rental can take place at the time of purchasing the ticket or at the Bookshop desk. The Federico II Foundation will guarantee the scrupulous sanitization of the equipment. Disposable listening headphones must be disposed of at the end of the visit, in the appropriate bin located near the exit and specifically marked.

Accessible and non-accessible areas for visitors in wheelchairs and with reduced mobility:
The Monumental Complex of Palazzo Reale is equipped with tools for the removal, where possible, of architectural barriers to offer maximum comfort and safety to disabled visitors.
The accessible areas are: Bookshop, Sale Duca di Montalto, Cappella Palatina, Sala d’Ercole, Sala dei Viceroy, Sala Pompeiana, Sala Cinese and Giardini Reali.
The non-accessible areas are: Archaeological Area of the Punic Walls, Sala Re Ruggero and Torre Pisana.
Warning: Animals of any size are not permitted in the Monumental Complex, even when they are kept in special carriers.
The site does not have luggage storage.

TOURIST TOURS FOR GROUPS
Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Tourist Guides, Associations and Universities will be able to book tourist visits for groups through the Federico II Foundation website www.federicosecondo.org by clicking on “Online ticketing” “Online booking”, sending an email to address th.gruppi@vivaticket.com or by calling 091/7055633 from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 18.00.
Warning – It will be possible to purchase the ticket online up to 20 minutes before the last entry allowed on the day.
SCHOOL VISITS
In order to optimize the tourist and cultural use of the educational institutions at the Monumental Complex of the Royal Palace of Palermo, it is specified that:
– School groups will be able to confirm the visit to the Monumental Complex ten days before the selected date. If the educational institutions do not have, due to force majeure, the possibility of going to the site on the scheduled day, they will be able to use the access tickets previously purchased, opting, by mutual agreement, with the Federico II Foundation, the first available date to carry out visit.
– The Federico II Foundation will guarantee free tuition to two accompanying teachers for every 15 pupils, all other members of the school staff will pay according to the standard rates due. Free tickets for companions will be collected at the Desk station located in the Bookshop.
Visits for school groups will be held from Monday to Friday during the following four time slots:
-08.30 – 09.30
-09.30 – 10.30
-12.30 – 1.30pm
-1.30pm – 2.30pm.
At the time of booking it is necessary to specify the number of students, the number of accompanying teachers, the day, the time slot and any organizational request relating to the visit, in order to prevent any form of logistical inconvenience. The request will be accompanied on the Institute’s official paper with the signatures of the Headmaster and the Administrative Director and with the complete list of all participants.
