Federico II Foundation offers visitors and media alike the opportunity to admire an absolute masterpiece of Renaissance art. Michelangelo’s renowned sculpture “Cristo Risorto Portacroce Giustinani” will be on display in the Royal Apartments of the Royal Palace of Palermo — an extraordinary work, celebrated both for its artistic value and for the unique events that have marked its history over time. The statue features a dark vein on the face, which initially led Michelangelo to abandon the work before later completing it. Starting November 13 to April 30, the sculpture will be open to visitors.
